(March 11, 2015)

On March 11, 2015 the Luxembourg Ministry of Finance published a press release stating that two DTAs were signed by Luxembourg. The first DTA signed was with Uruguay and the second one with Hungary.

According to the press release the DTA signed with Uruguay is a Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital between Luxembourg and Uruguay. Unfortunately we have not been able to locate the text of this DTA yet.

As we already reported earlier today, Luxembourg also signed a Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income and on Capital with Hungary. This DTA will replace the existing Luxembourg – Uruguay DTA.
