The U.S. Department of the Treasury on its webpage that is dedicated to FATCA has published the FATCA Agreement that was concluded between the United States and the Holy See (the ecclesiastical jurisdiction of the Catholic Church in Rome, the episcopal see of the Bishop of Rome - the Pope).

 

The agreement is a so-called Model 1 IGA.

 

Already in November 2014 the United States and the Holy See, Acting Also in the Name and on Behalf of the Vatican City State,  reached an agreement in substance regarding a FATCA IGA to be concluded. Based on the information provided by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the FATCA Agreement between The United States and the Holy See was signed on June 10, 2015.
