The next (fourth) meeting of the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Tax Rulings and Other Measures Similar in Nature or Effect (TAXE Committee) is scheduled to take place on May 5, 2015. According to the information provided on the website of the European Parliament, the meeting consists out of two sessions. The morning session is scheduled for 9.00 CET - 12.30 CET. The afternoon session is scheduled for 15.00 CET - 18.30 CET. The sessions will be broadcasted live via the internet.

According to the Draft Agenda during the morning session the Members of the Committee will exchange views with Margrethe Vestager, Commissioner for Competition on the Commission's role in implementation of competition policy regarding Member States' tax rulings practice. Subsequently Dr Nolz, Chairman of the Code of Conduct Group of the Council will debate with the Members on the work of the Group.

The afternoon is supposed to focus on the views of the industry on tax rulings and similar measures. Based on the CVs published on the webpage of the Special Committee discussion partners for this session seem to include a.o. Prof Dr Stef van Weeghel (PWC) and Jane McCormick (KPMG LLP).
