The U.S. Department of the Treasury on its webpage that is dedicated to FATCA has published the FATCA Agreement that was concluded between the United States and the Portuguese Republic.

 

The agreement is a so-called Model 1 IGA.

 

Already in April 2014 the Government of the United States and the Government of the Portuguese Republic reached an agreement in substance regarding a FATCA IGA to be concluded. Based on the information provided by the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the FATCA Agreement between The United States and the Portuguese Republic was signed on August 6, 2015.
