The next meeting of the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Tax Rulings and Other Measures Similar in Nature or Effect is to be held on March 30, 2015. The meeting is scheduled to last from 15.00 – 18.30 CET.

During the meeting the Special Committee will meet with Commissioner Pierre Moscovici to discuss the European Commission's proposal for a Council Directive amending Directive 2011/16/EU as regards mandatory automatic exchange of information in the field of taxation (Click here to be forwarded to the proposal for the Directive).

According to the Draft Agenda of the meeting also the Communication from the Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on tax transparency to fight tax evasion and avoidance will be discussed. (Click here to be forwarded to the Communication)

According to the information provided by the European Parliament, the meeting will be held jointly with the Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs.
