On June 7, 2016 the European Parliament’s Special Committee on Tax Rulings and Other Measures Similar in Nature or Effect (TAXE 2) published the proposed amendments 1-254 that were tabled with respect to “DRAFT REPORT on tax rulings and other measures similar in nature or effect” that was drafted by the co-rapporteurs: Jeppe Kofod and Michael Theurer.
The Draft Report from Jeppe Kofod and Michael Theurer is dated May 11, 2016 and can be found here.
After the draft report was published, the co-rapporteurs presented it during TAXE 2’s meeting from May 24, 2016. Subsequently the Members of TAXE 2 could table proposals for amendments to the draft report. TAXE 2 has now published the proposals for amendments 1-254 that were tabled by TAXE 2 members. The proposed amendments can be found here.
Please note however that we expect that there is still a second set of proposed amendments to be published. As soon as this second set of proposed amendments is published, we will update this article.
