On August 25, 2016 the OECD issued a press release announcing that on that same date Andorra, Saint Kitts & Nevis and Senegal deposited their instrument of ratification for the OECD’s Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters.
Andorra, signed the Convention on November 5, 2013. Saint Kitts and Nevis, signed the Convention on August 25, 2016. Senegal, signed the Convention on February 4, 2016.
Based on the overview of Jurisdictions Participating in the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as available on the website of the OECD, the Convention is expected to enter into force on December 1, 2016 with respect to all three of the aforementioned jurisdictions.
