INTERNATIONAL TAX PLAZA - Papua New Guinea signs the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI)

On January 24, 2019 the OECD issued a press release announcing that on January 23, 2019 Papua New Guinea signed the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (MLI). Therewith Papua New Guinea became the 87th jurisdiction to join the MLI.
