On March 13, 2017 the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore announced that the Competent Authorities of Singapore concluded Agreements on the Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information to Improve International Tax Compliance with the competent authorities of Belgium and Luxembourg.

 

The agreement with Belgium was signed on march 10, 2017. Singapore and Belgium will commence the Automatic Exchange of Information under the CRS by September 2018. The first year for which information will be exchanged under the Agreement is 2017.

 

The agreement with Luxembourg was also signed on March 10, 2017. Singapore and Luxembourg will commence the Automatic Exchange of Information under the CRS by September 2018. The first year for which information will be exchanged under the Agreement is 2017.
