The U.S. Department of the Treasury on its webpage that is dedicated to FATCA has published the Agreement between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of Barbados to Improve International Tax Compliance and to Implement FATCA. Based on the information provided by the U.S. Department of the Treasury this FATCA agreement was signed on November 17, 2014.

 

The U.S. – Barbados FATCA agreement is a so-called Model 1 IGA. In May 2014 the Governments of Barbados and the United States had already reached an agreement in substance on the FATCA agreement that was ultimately signed on November 17, 2014.
