On February 13, 2015 the Government of Liechtenstein issued a press release stating that on February 10, 2015 Liechtenstein and Italy finalized their negotiations on a Tax Information Exchange Agreement (TIEA) and accompanying Protocol to be concluded.

According to the press release both Governments are currently preparing the signing of the TIEA and Protocol. According to the press release the signing of the TIEA is supposed to take place in February 2015.

The press release furthermore states that both parties have agreed that after the entering into force of the TIEA, it is their intention to start negotiations on a DTA to be concluded.

Unfortunately no text of the (intended) TIEA and accompanying Protocol is available yet.
