On September 27, 2016 the European Parliament’s Inquiry Committee on money laundering, tax avoidance and tax evasion (Hereafter: the PANA Inquiry Committee) had a meeting. During this meeting the PANA Inquiry Committee had a debate with some of the journalists who revealed the scandal of the Panama Papers regarding their investigative work, conclusions and possible recommendations. The debate could be followed live via the internet. EPTV has now made a video available of the debate.

During the meeting PANA Chair Werner Langen announced that the PANA Inquiry Committee will not only look into the Panama Papers, but that it will also look in the more recent Bahama leaks in which a.o. the name of former Euro Commissioner Nellie Kroes has been mentioned.
