Based on the overview of Jurisdictions Participating in the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as available on the website of the OECD on June 2, 2016 Brazil deposited its instrument of ratification, acceptance or approval for the OECD’s Multilateral Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters.Brazil signed the Convention on November 3, 2011.
Again based on the overview of Jurisdictions Participating in the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters as available on the website of the OECD, the Convention is expected to enter into force on October 1, 2016 with respect to Brazil.
