INTERNATIONAL TAX PLAZA - China deposits its instrument for the approval of the MLI

On May 25, 2022 the People’s Republic of China deposited its instrument for the approval of the Multilateral Convention to Implement Tax Treaty Related Measures to Prevent Base Erosion and Profit Shifting ("Multilateral Instrument" or "MLI"). As a result the MLI will enter into force as per September 1, 2022 with respect to China.
