INTERNATIONAL TAX PLAZA - Fiji and Moldova join the Inclusive Framework on BEPS and participate in the agreement to address the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy

On May 27, 2024 and May 28, 2024 the OECD issued two separate press releases in which it announced that both Fiji and Moldova have joined international efforts against tax avoidance by joining the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on BEPS.

Through its membership, Fiji and Moldova have also committed to addressing the tax challenges arising from the digitalisation of the economy by participating in the Two-Pillar Solution to reform the international taxation rules and ensure that multinational enterprises (MNEs) pay a fair share of tax wherever they operate.

With the joining of Fiji and Moldova the total number of members of the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on BEPS comes to 147. The full list of Members of the Inclusive Framework on BEPS can be found here.
